The Stratford ReStore was opened in 2004 as a fundraising division of Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County (Habitat CFC). Our store is over 45,000 square feet, making it one of the largest single-location ReStores in the country. We accept donations of new and gently used items from individuals and businesses and sell them to the public at a reduced cost, usually 50-70 percent of the original retail value. Your purchases keep materials out of landfills and generate revenue to build affordable homes, helping families in our area achieve homeownership! Purchases from our ReStore funds the building of 2-3 Habitat homes each year.
SHOP
With constantly changing inventory, prices well below retail, frequent markdowns and one-of-a-kind finds, you never know what finds are waiting for you. Be sure to stop by often—if you miss a day, you just might miss a deal!
Some of the products we carry include:
• Furniture
• Home décor
• Appliances
• Lighting
• Cabinets
• Building materials
• Flooring
• Windows and doors
Shopping at the ReStore is a great deal for you, your community, and the environment.
NOTE: The Stratford ReStore does not offer delivery services. We will hold select items for up to 4 days at no charge after which there is a $10 per day storage fee. See store staff for more details on the hold policy.
DONATE
For businesses, donating to the ReStore is a great way to move discontinued or excess stock, and deal with gently used returns.
Donations to our ReStore generate funds to build 2-3 affordable Habitat homes in our community each year! Not only that, donations to the Stratford ReStore keep approximately 975 tons of waste out of landfills annually! Donated furniture also provides your community with the opportunity to purchase items at significant savings. And your donations may be tax-deductible! Everyone wins!
Our service area includes Bridgeport, Darien, Easton, Fairfield, Greenwich, Monroe, Newtown, Shelton, Stamford, Stratford, Trumbull, Norwalk, and Westport. We occasionally accept donations outside of our service area on a case-by-case basis, but only after you have contacted the appropriate Habitat Affiliate for your location. Please email donate@restorecfc.org for more information.
Our courteous, professional staff makes donating easy and convenient. Donations may be dropped off at our store during business hours. If your items are too large for you to transport, the ReStore offers free pickup service for most items in Coastal Fairfield County.
