Have you been considering a community group event or been searching for a way to boost morale and create a sense of teamwork among your members? Have you wondered how your group can achieve more goodwill in the community? Habitat CFC has a program designed just for those needs – Team Build Days! Through a Team Build Day, your group will enjoy a fun-filled, inspirational day of volunteering on a Habitat CFC worksite. This unique, hands-on opportunity will also help make a family’s dream of homeownership possible. No experience is necessary; our construction staff is trained to teach your employees everything they need to know. Habitat CFC builds communities and improves lives by eliminating substandard housing and creating affordable homeownership possibilities for families in Coastal Fairfield County. Habitat CFC builds approximately 10 homes each year providing year-round volunteer opportunities. Volunteering as a group is a great team-building activity as well as a unique opportunity to partner with a highly reputable non-profit organization. Though the members of your group will provide the muscle, your group’s $1,000 donation of the Build Day, is what enables Habitat CFC to secure materials, equipment and supervision and prepare our families to purchase their Habitat built home below cost with a zero-interest mortgage.
