Gourmet Expo & Wine Tasting Raises $26,000 to Benefit 8th Women Build Home

 On Thursday, November 15th 2012 Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County Women Build Program hosted the 5th Annual Gourmet Expo  and Wine Tasting at Aitoro Appliances in Norwalk. This annual event is a major fundraiser for the Women Build program which engages women in making a difference through raising awareness of the need for affordable housing and by building homes and communities.

The event sponsored by Aitoro Appliances, Mitchells of Westport, Grande Harvest Wines, Rings End Lumber, Lillian August Designs, GE,  Hemmingway Custom Cabinetry, KMS Partners at Coldwell Bankers and Moffly Media  will help a deserving, low-income working mother and her daughter achieve their dream of first time homeownership. The Aquino family will move into their home on Whittier Street in Bridgeport this December.
