Youth United Annual Hoops for Habitat Event

Habitat CFC’s Youth United is postponing their annual “Hoops For Habitat” event until further notice. The Youth United Committee is grateful for the enthusiastic support volunteers, sponsors and donors continually bring year after year to this event. We’re always open to fresh faces and new ideas on the Committee and look forward to redirecting our efforts in supporting the mission of Habitat CFC.

2018 Event

Youth United’s Hoops for Habitat

On Saturday, April 7, 2018, Habitat CFC’s Youth United group held its 9th Annual “Hoops for Habitat” basketball-scoring competition, clinic and fundraising event at the Wakeman Boys & Girls Club in Bridgeport.

Former UCONN and NBA Timberwolves player Chris Smith, and Wes Matthews NBA championship LA Lakers conducted the basketball clinic, and dunking contest.

The funds raised through the event went towards Youth United’s 5th sponsored Habitat CFC home at Waldorf Avenue in Bridgeport.
