BANK OF AMERICA PARTNERSHIP BRINGS GRANT FUNDS, VOLUNTEERS TO HABITAT FOR HUMANITY OF COASTAL FAIRFIELD COUNTY
On Friday, September 21st Bank of America employees, including a number of local executives, volunteered at Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County’s eighth annual Women Build and presented a $25,000 grant to the organization. The funds are part of a recently announced $200,000 in housing-related grants that will impact low and moderate-income communities throughout Connecticut.
Bank of America and Habitat for Humanity of Coastal Fairfield County are partnering to improve the quality of life in Fairfield County by providing housing and social services to qualified families. The partnership consists of volunteer and financial support, with Bank of America serving as lead sponsor for Habitat’s local Women Build initiative. Habitat CFC’s Women Build program recruits, educates and inspires women to build and advocate for simple, decent and affordable houses in their communities.
